Abyss World Boss Emerges in Genshin Impact Leak
The upcoming Genshin Impact update 3.6 will feature a new World Boss, which has been recently leaked in the form of gameplay footage. As the game is continually evolving, the Sumeru region has become increasingly populated with various adversaries that are scattered across the Dendro nation.
Genshin Impact is no different than other open-world RPG titles, featuring opponents that range from Common Enemies to Weekly Bosses. Normal Bosses are generally tougher than Elite Enemies, offering rewards that can be utilized to level up characters. As compared to Weekly Boss domains which can be farmed only once a week, Resin can be utilized to challenge Normal Bosses and reap the rewards as often as desired.
An article posted on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit displays a video that introduces a new boss domain, featuring a creature from the Abyss Order, one of the main antagonist factions in the game. The Order is notorious for its ambition to replace the gods of Teyvat. The video reveals the monster can wield multiple elements and create several elemental shields, meaning players must tailor their team to break through them.
Players of Genshin Impact are expressing concern that the boss battle with the shield-wielding opponent may be a troublesome one. Some gamers have recommended that a Pyro and a Hydro character should be included in a party to successfully combat the enemy. Pyro is known to be a very powerful elemental damage type since it can counter three types of shields – Dendro, Cryo, and Electro. Additionally, Hydro damage is also effective against Pyro shields and when both these elements are present in a party, Vaporize, a highly potent elemental reaction, can be activated.
Many spectators have noted that the design of the new adversary is peculiar in comparison to the majority of Abyss creatures, for it has two sets of arms, which is not common for humanoid adversaries in the game. Players also wish that the new enemy is vulnerable to Dendro damage so they can exploit one of the two newly-confirmed characters for Genshin Impact update 3.6.
Both Baizhu and Kaveh are projected to make use of the Dendro element and should be utilized as supportive characters in many team compositions. Additionally, Baizhu, as a five-star character, will have the additional ability to heal his allies.
The popular game Genshin Impact has been released on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. Additionally, a version of the Nintendo Switch is currently in the works.
