Pictorial Representation of Al Mazrah’s Appearances in the Nighttime in Call of Duty: Warzone 2
Players have been requesting Raven Software and Infinity Ward to introduce a night mode to the Al Mazrah map in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 yet to no avail, leading one creative gamer to create a screenshot depicting the map under the moonlight. Recently, a survey was sent to gamers which might mean the return of Verdansk to Warzone 2, however, there have not been any official comments on the possibility of a nighttime version of Al Mazrah being added to the game.
In late 2022, Call of Duty: Warzone 2 launched with a host of new features and the DMZ mode. Despite technical troubles and some unpopular gameplay changes, the title has been mostly well-received. Infinity Ward and Raven Software have since released updates to the game to address the biggest player grievances and have stated that 1v1 Gulags will return to Warzone 2 after the introduction of a 2v2 format for the sequel caused an outcry.
No official announcement has been made yet about the possibility of a nighttime version of Al Mazrah in Warzone 2. Nevertheless, a Reddit user, EMADALDEN221, created a concept of what it could look like. The concept was shared on r/CODWarzone and earned a lot of appreciation from fans of the game. The concept image portrays the town with just the light from the moon and windows, making it appear even more menacing than usual.
The followers of Warzone 2 who reacted to the post were delighted by EMADALDEN221’s rendition of an evening Al Mazrah, though a few were dubious that such a map could be added to the game. One individual made a joke about Infinity Ward’s history of deleting beloved maps and modes from their Call of Duty games, saying “It will probably be part of a two-day limited-time event never to return.” Other gamers suggested that day-night cycles and dynamic weather effects should be included in Warzone 2.
This amazing fan recreation illustrates how thrilling it would be to explore an Al Mazrah at night. Although it’s improbable that this version of the map will become available in the free-to-play shooter shortly, gamers can look forward to navigating a new Warzone 2 map when Season 2 launches.
Gamers can now experience the brand-new installment of Call of Duty: Warzone on PC, Play Station 4, Play Station 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
